「生きていてよかった」と感じられる環境づくり：
マイノリティの参画を通じた脱施設化・脱制度化に関する建築計画研究

私たちの社会は、施設・制度（institution）の成熟によって成立している一方で、私たちはしばしばそれらに囚われ、自立的かつ自律的な意識や行動をいつの間にか喪失してしまっていることがあります。そもそも施設・制度のしがらみはどういった状況に潜んでいるのか、そして私たちが施設・制度のしがらみから脱け出し、再び生き生きとした日常生活を送るためにはどのような計画が求められるのか、現場の観察を通じて研究や実務を展開していきたいです。

建築計画学と環境行動研究の分野において、私は特にマイノリティの認識や働きかけを計画へ適切に反映させることを通じて、「脱制度化・脱施設化」の計画手法を模索しています。具体的には、人々へのインタビューと行動観察調査を組み合わせ、複雑で多元的な構築環境（built environment）を捉え直し、計画システムに組み込むことを目指しています。
こうした試みを通じて、多くの人々が「生きていてよかった」と感じられるような環境の実現に貢献したいと考えています。

Towards Environments Where People Can Feel “I'm Glad to Be Alive”:
Architectual Planning Research on Deinstitutionalisation through Minority Inclusion

My research interests lie in the institutions that shape our built environment, both socially and physically. Although such institutions are essential to the functioning of our society, we often find ourselves confined within them, gradually losing our autonomy and our ability to live life as we choose.

Therefore, my research asks where these institutional constraints lie and what kinds of planning frameworks can help us overcome them to live more vividly and freely in our everyday lives.

Within the fields of architectural planning and environmental behaviour studies, my work explores planning methods of deinstitutionalisation, particularly for minority groups, with the aim of fostering a more inclusive and convivial society.
By combining narrative interviews with empirical surveys of people’s everyday spatial activities, I seek to reinterpret complex and plural built environment from a constructionist perspective, and to incorporate these insights into planning systems. Through this approach, I hope to contribute to creating environments in which diverse people can genuinely feel, “I’m glad to be alive.”
